Every contribution helps


The organization entirely depends on donors and well wishers, therefore we encourage them to support the program. All funds are carefully spent. 

 

What is needed?

 

On the one hand the Mfangano Island Orphan and Vulnerable Support Center is trying to save money for the plans to build an actual center. At the moment most children are staying with relatives. On the other hand of course, there are bills to pay and food to buy among other things.

On the left you can see the costs for the facilities needed for the planned buildings, and on the right the fixed costs for a child.

How can I help?

 

You can either make a simple donation or sponsor a specific child. Therefore you have 3 options you can choose from. The first is PayPal, most certainly the easiest one. You can just fill out the form below and click the submit button. You will be redirected to the PayPal website where you complete the donation.

The other 2 options are WesternUnion and MoneyGram. For these 2 the same holds, as you can fill out the form below and will be redirected to the appropriate website.

How does it work?

Please fill out the form below. By clicking the submit button, you will be redirected to the WesternUnion website. Then you can choose, whether you want to send your donation online, or go to the next WesternUnion counter in your neighbourhood and send it from there (send to: Kenya; name: Peter Odhiambo). Afterwards you have to write us an e-mail to contact@mfangano-orphans.com containing your name as well as the MTCN (MoneyTransferControlNumber) you get and the test question and answer you wrote on the WesternUnion form. Not until we get this information, we can go to the next WesternUnion counter and receive your donation.
